Getac issues

I understand a lot of you are using Getac tough books. I have a few and 2 for sure have issues where the cursor will be constantly moving around and clicking and right clicking and it continues even after restarting. Anyone faced this issue?

I faced that on the Panasonic as well. If I recall correctly the solution was to disable the pen (ballpoint) device in device manager. See this post:

I had the jumping mouse issue too on one of my FZ-G1s. Don’t remember exactly how I fixed it but I guess is was by disabling the ballpoint in the device manager. Check this tutorial, it’s not exactly for an FZ-G1 but look for a device named something with “ballpoint” and try disabling it. if I remember correctly, I was still able to use the pen after that. For whatever reason the BallPoint driver thinks the data coming from the built-in GPS module is mouse information. None of us really need the BallPoint pen so you can disable it.

Thanks for the input. In this case disabling com2 seems to help it’s the built in GPS
