Dad was drilling last night. Pulled the tablet out of the tractor when he was done to charge it and it updated overnight. Now today, i ve got green lights across the board in agio, but no coordinates in upper left and no connection to aog. I rebooted the tablet, after removing the updates, reset the aio box in the tractor. Still nothing. Im about set to reinstall the whole thing on the toughbook if i cant find something else to try. Thoughts anyone?
Try hitting set subnet in agio>udp settings
192.168.5 is green at the bottom. When i hit set subnet it turns red and says no adapter for this subnet then turns green again
That sounds like an antenna issue..
Was informed that the panda sentences appear to be incomplete. Ive got a flashy light on the teensy so im leaning that direction now. Unless there is another option of something i can try, I will get a new antenna ordered. The only other one ive got is the base station on the roof
worth plugging onto the GNSS receiver as well it should output the GPS position directly towards USB (remove the ethernet and connect in AgIO via the COM port)
I agree with Ebedel that it feels like it doesn’t even see any satellite as the 1st part of the PANDA is the time and even with 1 satellite we should resolve the time at least.
Fixed. Antenna was the issue, swapped it with my base antenna just to see and had signal within 10sec. Got a replacement ordered, and a new cable in case. Thanks for the help.
Seem to be getting random issues just like you so have ordered a spare antenna too:crossed_fingers:![]()
got 2 new antennas on the way.
After some fiddling i did manage to get the old one to work but as you say, random errors all over; suddenly deciding that i’m going in reverse, intermitten signal loss, or just random abandonemnt of the ab line mid field for no apparent reason.
Which type of antennas do we talk about?
Type to avoid if my 5 year old Ublox ANN-MB-00 should fail !
Ill have to get the info off it for you. its the standard white one that came with my agopenshop kit. worked good until now. and im also beginning to think that its the tmc connection going into the antenna thats the issue, and possibly not the antenna itself. I’ve been able to unscrew it and put it back and that seems to fix the issue at least temporarily. the new one i ordered comes with the wire built in with only a single connection into the AIO box
Almost certain the tnc connection the antenna end .
Could be the centre pin not making good enough contact or possibly the earth inside the cable itself
You can buy a new tnc connector and recrimp another one on
