Yes, Schottky diodes are very fast and withstand high voltages.
A standard diode would burn out immediately.
What exactly is the difference between the 30L and 60L open centre valves? I thought i had bought a 60L, but the plate on the proportional valve says it is a 30L valve.
Just wondered if the valve block had a bigger internal valve to release excess flow back to the orbitrol?
The 30 and 60 refers to the lock valve. You need the 60 for tractors with large steering cylinders, otherwise you may have compromised manually steering when steering fast lock to lock.
Ah, ok, so can still have the 30L proportional valve on the top. Phew!
