Mapping Trees for Agroforestry Purposes

Hi all,

We are running AgOpen GPS in one of our tractors as normal, but wish to put it on a quadbike, for driving round our tree plots to map individual trees and record widths etc, so we can track this for agroforestry purposes.
I have seen articles here relating to tree planting, whilst I appreciate there may be some crossover, these plots are established and widths/spacings differ.
Very grateful for any advice.

Thanks.

You could try a basic rover setup and use the Qfield app. Set a base layer as tree points then add other layers with your data. Once the canopy becomes too tall gps reception will be an issue. I haven’t tried this, just putting the idea out there
