Looking to see if anyone has files or pics of installation in a New Holland Genesis 8x70 series tractor. Looking for phidgits steering motor and WAS mounts.
How does Super Steer affect WAS angle? Would it be best to use a linear potentiometer vs a Land Rover type sensor?
I tried searching here and Google and not finding anything.
If you look closely you will see that there are a number of holes on the wheel side as well as on the WAS side, these serve to keep the angle within the 90 degrees that the WAS can handle.
this way you can keep a large steering angle within the tolerance of the WAS, just long bar on the WAS and a short one on the wheel side.
And those supersteers that turn briefly, I know, but the axle turns simultaneously with the wheels, right? then I would put the WAS at the pivot next to the wheels.

Have you seen this thread
Or some more here
I have collected many images from various Telegram groups of wheel angle installations. I’ve noticed that new users (myself included) land here in the discourse and struggle to find good pictures (wiped during the server move).
There’s about every possible orientation here. Top of kingpin, bottom of kingpin, inside the kingpin, measuring cylinders directly with linear sensors, draglink to knuckle, MFWD, 2 wheel drive, etc. Delphi, RQH, Danfoss, Princess Auto, a basic potentiometer, etc. Hopeful…
Steering mount ideas
Here’s a place to put pictures and links to 3D print files for steering mounts specific to make and model. Please post links to the .stl files stored at Thingiverse, Google Drive, Dropbox etc. as we don’t have a lot of space available on this forum.
A linear sensor on the Steering ram might be the easiest and simplest to set up
