I’m running a RC15 board on a hagie sprayer, with 9 sections, I have sections 1-7 functioning perfectly with the rc15. I added the relay driver board and an 8 elegoo 8 relay module to control sections 8 and 9 and I’ve had no success getting the relays on the board to do anything. I’ve confirmed that the relay board does function on the bench.
I’m running rate control version 4.3.0
In the module config for remote relay control I have selected PCA9555 8 relays, seemed to be the only appropriate option even though the relay driver board is running a PCA9535(potential problem, but the closest option).
Also in module config, relay pins, remote relays, I’ve tried assigning pins to the relays based on what I was seeing in the schematic section 8 to pin 4 and section 9 to pin 6. I believe that’s what those sections should corispond to on the driver board but could easily be wrong.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong or anything else to check?
Is there something I can change to add that support myself? Or is that release coming out imminently? I’m hoping to start spraying in the next week or two.
It is working somewhat, I think I’m not configuring something correctly. So I want to have control of sections 8 and 9, so should be the first two relays. No matter what I assign for pins on the remote relay I cannot get control of section 8. Section 9 works fine, it’s controlling the first relay in the board. In the rate controller it’s showing 1-8 as the onboard “relays” but you can actually have 7 functioning sections on the rc15 correct? That’s all the updated pinout indicates anyway.
