Should you consider the cost first? A new Trimble steer motor probably costs more than those hydraulic auto-steer valves available from forum members?

youāre right, the cost is too high, instead Iām thinking of making a brushless motor designed according to the steering dimensions.

You can build a couple AOG units for that price. If you do have this motor sell it before it becomes obsolete, build a really fancy AOG setup and still have $3000 for beer left over.
