Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to use Massey Ferguson 7s novatel antenna in combination with an agopengps board. The tractor already have autosteer with factory antenna. I want to get u-turn and rtk. In stead of bying an extra f9p, use what i already have.
For the sake of £170 is it worth the headache

Well, maybe not. But I looked at an how to video on youtube. And there the s series mf had an rs232 connector for sending nmea to an 3rd Party screen. So I thought it could be possible without to mutch pain. But maybe I am wrong.
Is the Novatel receiver unlocked for RTK? If not, I’m sure you would prefer F9P over purchasing the RTK licence.
No RTK on that no. Probly best to get an f9p then.
If you want to use AOG to steer you need to remove VDOx from the machine.
The antenna connects to that over RS232.
So yes you could grab the antenna signal from the Novatel.
No you’ll never get RTK Fix.
And nobody can help you how to do this, you’re on your own pretty much.
As other suggested: grab an F9P
Where is the vdox located? If you remove the original receiver will that stop it? I’m about to do an install on a MF 8732s

except on the new 8S where I found it on the upper right side from the inside of the cab around the fuse box (left from the radio)
be careful when you remove the screws as there’s a piece of round metal thingie there positioned in a way that it definitely cracks the screen during its fall
