6.8.2. Isobus vs Gaspardo seeder

Hi,
I have mounted AOG to some of my tractors and i also have one tractor with CHCNav that i use with Gaspardo seeder. My CHCNav does not support section control, so i have to manually enable/disable sections on my isobus terminal supplied by Gaspardo.

My intention is to replace CHCNav entirely with AOG and make AOG control gaspardo sections.
Im total newbie in terms of isobus and so on.
What i have done:

  • bought ~30$ aliexpress PCAN-USB adapter,
  • downloaded 6.8.2 AOG, installed pcan driver, downloaded AGIsoStack Virtual Terminal
  • connected it all + pcb 4.5 + antenna + supplied 12vdc to isobus connector on seeder, connected CANH and CANL to PCAN-USB - just temporary setup on the ground, i do not have matching isobus connector, so i just pushed wires into seeder connector (used 1,2,3,4 - power supply, 8,9 - peak can)
  1. started AGIsoStack VT - it took couple of minutes to download Gaspardo screen from machine, then i could click some icons and i heared seeder to make some actions (probably enabling/disabling sections)
  2. VirtualTerminal randomly after couple of seconds or sometimes minutes crashed (windows application closes without any information why) or machine graphics disappears and goes back to default screen “No Working Sets Are Active”
  3. Closed VT, opened AOG, configured, started ISOBUS TC in AgIO, configured machine by hand so it has 6 sections as physically on seeder, created some random field, ISOBUS SC icon popped up on top right, clicked it so its green, then i was clicking sections (red/yellow/green) hoping i would hear gaspardo seeder react, but no reaciton at all.

I see two problems:

  1. Why is VT randomly/suddelny closing/crashing? As i observed it happens when i click some icons on screen, like i can switch one or two sections and then it crashes. I restart machine by disconnecting and reconnecting 12vdc power, restart VT and then graphics load and it stays on for a long time. It only crashes some short time after i try to change anything.
  2. AOG/AgIO does not effect machines status in any way

Briefly chcecked it with chatgpt, it says chineese peak can clone can cause it and also that its possible this gaspardo sprayer only works with terminal, but not TC+SC. As we know chatgpt could be making things up so im here to seek help.

(unfortunately as a new user i cant attach logs, so i dont know how to continue)

Not that i don’t want you to move to AOG, but what version of CHCNAV do you have? Current version supports section control (TC) and isobus VT (UT) ?

Our amazone planter only does visuals on screen but refuses to do anything unless we’re seeding. Same with the other brands I tried.
