Additional sensor data ingest

Hi guys,
Is there any way of including real time external sensor data and plotting it with the GPS points onto the working map as an additional coverage layer - while also saving the data in the background.

I currently use a DualEM 1H (Products - DUALEM.COM) soil sensor for gathering electrical conductivity data over agricultural paddocks. The DualEM samples at 1Hz and communicates via serial and I was wondering if it would be possible to add the sensor in as its own implement or use in conjunction with another implement when using AOG (tow behind a buggy by itself, or have it dragged behind planter when in the tractor).

This would be awesome if it could be included somehow in the future - it would save me heaps instead of having to purchase software! Thanks all!

The trouble is, that would take quite a bit of code, that every developer would have to learn, and maintain. There are basic programs for taking serial data, and logging them to a file if that’s all you need.

I think there’s no plan to bring some form of data gathering map to AOG in a near future.

This would be a huge work.

I would like to see multiple available layers. Like to save yields, planter units ground pressure, downforce pressure, population, singulation.

You could print the data and the coordinates and somehow save in a file.(AOG(AgIO) can read an USB port and save the data)

Then open with an other software.
