Hi Potatofarmer! On the topic of lora radio, may I know if the collaboration you had with jp-drain-sol on using emlid lora radio without m2 on agopengps resulted in a dongle that I can diy or buy? I already have a micro f9p but the use of ntrip is next to impossible due to cell signal being erratic if not absent in areas where I want to use the AOG. I was able to use m2+lora on AOG with assistance from lloyd (whom I believe you’ve assisted in his setup). I would like to keep the f9p as an option due to its high update rate (100T+ vs 400T+) if only it can communicate with my RS2 as base thru emlid lora radio. Thx.
The original emlid lora is pretty limited, jp’s project did offer more flexibility using it.
But if your area is as bad for signal as you say it may be better to look into higher power external serial radios. They will provide a higher data rate and more robust coverage.
The emlid Lora is extremely line of sight at only 0.1 Watt.
