I’ve been considering making the jump into the AOG ecosystem for a couple years now. With the latest improvements, specifically AgShare, I’m considering taking the plunge. I strip till so being able to easily share lines between the strip till tractor and planter tractor will be very nice. Right now my strip till tractor has a Trimble GFX display and the planter uses a older FMX. With Trimble’s recent firmware for the GFX, squared headlands has returned (which I love) however those headland guidance lines no longer play nicely with the old FMX’s even after converting. This has led to having to manually steer the headlands while planting. (First world problems, I know)
So long story short I’m considering switching these two tractors to AOG. The two tractors in question are a Massey 7624 and a Fendt 714 SCR, both autosteer ready. I like the compactness and simplicity of the triple CAN pcb design since that is all I need. Is anyone selling these boards already assembled and ready to go? Everything I’ve found for sale online has been the all in one style board.
Also I need the ability to share NMEA gps through a DB9 connector to provide GPS for my precision planting monitor. Not sure if that’s possible with the triple CAN board?
