What does “Missed” mean in the GUI data display. When I tap the speedometer, a data display opens showing Lat, Lon, etc. I looked in the manual but no description of the data displayed.
Missed NMEA packets I think. A few is normal, but if the number is counting up, something is wrong
Thanks. I kind of figured that was it but wanted confirmation. I guess I will look in the source to see if I can find out how it is calculated.
I’ll be curious what you come up with…I always assumed something like “AOG expects 10 packets a second, so if AOG only got 9 in the last second, one was missed”. But I could be wrong. I assume a lot when it comes to electronic.
