I’m currently looking into GitHub - m-elias/AOG_Dev as I found out that the tool steer feature was added back in. which is quite neat for my 3-point hitch side-shift frame which i’m currently building.
But currently i’m facing the issue that i can not get the tool to follow the same GPS lien as the Tractor in the Sim, when i notch the line the tractor moves, but the tool stays on an old GPS path. @BrianTee_Admin this might be a quick one, does the tool feature work in AOG_Dev or is it not working.
If it is not working, i might have to go the route of installing a second AOG instance on my Side shift frame.
If it is working and i’m currently just not able to figure it out how it is working, does the Tool also run on a standard AOG PCB ?
Pictures of my Sim setup, maybe someone can spot my Problem:
Thanks for any help.
my reasoning was that i found Brian showing the tool feature in a video, where it looked like it was working (not perfect but working) it might be so here, but yes, DEV is DEV.
This sounds to me like it uses a second gps antenna on the tool and guides by that. Shouldn’t it be possible to guide based off the tool’s theoretical position? When running the simulator with guidance on a curve the tool will leave a gap or overlap because guidance is attempting to keep the tractor on the guide line instead of the tool or am I missing something?
