Hello,
I have an AOG on a tractor that I don’t have WAS installed on. The problem occurs in the field when I’m doing something, the tablet shows the tractor as if it’s drifting to one side all the time (wheels turned all the way in one direction) as a result, the attachment also drifts, even though in reality I’m driving straight, and I’m wondering if there’s any option to trick it so that the wheels show straight on the tablet?
Feeding 2.5 volts from a small converter to the was high pin would make wheels straight on screen
set CPD and ackerman to the max
Or use two identical 1k or higher resistors to make a voltage divider (ie 2.5v) on the WAS input.
Thanks for answers, at the end i solve problem with Ebedel answers solution.
Thanks for the answers, I did as Ebedel suggested and it works.
how does the steering perform without WAS? Also, if you do a U-turn, does it go full lock or steer appropriately? I think WAS install is actually the largest obstacle for most people to get a demo system up an running quickly.
It’s for visual guidance only.
But:
One guy has made a version that doesn’t use a WAS on the front axle.
It uses a keya motor with his encoder and UM981 or UM982 receiver.
It’s Simone, I don’t know his GitHub repository.
