App Map

Hi there! Just some questions about the app map in V6.3.3. What is it used for? I would like to get into VRA maps for fertilizer. I think it would work to use the old V5 variable rate version but I prefer the new user interface…

Hi, you need using this version, nice work with QGIS:

(Variable) Rate control

v6.3.0 for testing VR and section control. v6.3.0 for VR and section control testing. Notes: Red 0-255 is rate ch1 0-100% (what 0 and 100 mean is set in the Rate App). Green is section control (anything over zero green is section OFF). Rate is one rate for the whole boom and sampled at 3 places along green look ahead line and averaged. Section control is per section as normal (Maybe try some spot spraying, image drawing, or zero rate zones etc) Video how to make and load a map/image.

Looks complicated after playing around with the V5 version where it’s as simple as uploading a KML rate file. How hard would it be to add that to V6? Is someone working on that yet?
