Auto steer configuration

Hi, I’m having troubles setting my auto steer settings. I got it set pretty well for drilling last spring but this year i can’t seem to keep it driving strait. I’ve tried allot of different configurations but it seems like i get it close but it will still wonder off 30 inches or so and then come back and be off 5 inches. Very inconsistent. I think a blind squirrel can drive straighter, lol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

That sounds pretty bad. What setup do you have?

First make sure right roll axis is selected and was zero is ok and was dont have dead zones. Put some info aboutwhat setup you have, put some photos of motor settings…

My version is agio v5.7 i believe.
Not sure how to get to right roll axis?

Do the steer wizard again. You have some unusual values there.

The last picture cant possibly be right.
Update to the latest version v6.8.1 using configomatic. Its alot easier to set the steering up.
Then do the steer wizzard again

OK I’ll give it a try. Might not get it done till tomorrow.

That last picture say something like “there is no WAS”
Since your system did work before, you should check all connections.
Also reseat all components (the ones on pins) on your PCB as pins might have dried/corroded.
If WAS is correctly mounted on tractor Zero should be below 10 and not 221 as in picture.
Also if WAS use fulle scale (0.5 to 4,5 Volt signal with 2,5 V at straight ahead)
And counts should be at least 100

Yeah those settings are awful - no idea what you’re using tho I presume a 12v motor.

Watch the PWM training videos, they explain why what you have there can’t possibly work.

I downloaded the new version .
I went through the steering wizard.
I then set my AB line to find tune it and from the get go it would throw me back and forth about 15 feet from one side of the ab line to the other. I was driving about 3.5 mph. I could get it fined tuned so i did the wizard again. I have a hard time understanding why it would let the tractor even go back and forth that much to begin with.

The pictures are from the second time through the wizard. I have not tried to find tune them yet.

Sorry i missed typed. I COULD NOT get it fine tuned so i did the wizard again.

It is a 24v motor
I will try to watch the pwm training videos

Are you sure you got correct direction of steering?
Click arrow at bottom right to expand the window- now use the left and right arrows to steer (tractor icon in window must be green) if you make changes the red dot at right comes up so always click send-save, better one too many times

Also make a view all settings for us.
What you see here is for a not connected autosteer in SIM mode

In addition to the other good advice people have given I would double check all your vehicle measurements. Something is seriously wrong to be that far off. Does your motor turn the steering wheel well?

I was able to watch the PWM training videos and was able to get my steering set pretty good.
Thank you all for helping me understand and get it figured out.

Im a bit late here, but in all your pictures, your GPS signal is in GPS single, not RTK float / fix. It greatly affects precision. 3 to 10 meters range.
