I have a bad seal in a Baraki steering valve. I used this valve for several years and then had problems with it and found a bad seal. This is one of the lock out valves.
I need to replace it but can someone help me out with what size and kind of seal it is? Also any idea what happened to cause this seal to break?
Do you know the brand and model of the valve? There might be parts specified in the datasheet.
This is a valve made by a member of the AGOpenGPS community named Baraki. As far as I know there is no model number nor data sheet.
Baraki made the block, not the valve
He currently uses Argo Hytos valves on the 30L version.
The lock valves are 3/2 valves.
It could be this model:

Thank you!! I wasn’t thinking right!! That helps a lot! The model on the spool is SD2E-A3/H2D21-A. I’ll do some checking. Thanks again.
I’ve spent about 30 minutes online and having a hard time finding a dualseal to purchase. I have the dimensions but appears to be an extremely rare type of seal used in the USA, so I’m not finding a place as of yet to get one. But I did send and inquiry to one place. But maybe there is a type used in the USA that can be used in place of the dualseal, but I’m not sure about that.
Here are the dimemsions and viton or nbr types.

I still don’t know where I can order this seal
Did you enter vakue in google?
Well for starters, it’s not an o-ring.
Actually my son helped me and we have located some distributors of the brand of valve and have requested a price from IBT for the seals. Thanks everyone for helping.

Have not received any email back yet so still don’t know if we’ll find any place to actually purchase the seals.
Does anyone have problems blowing the seals on the Baraki steering valve? We are continuing blowing seals. We have an extra valve that we haven’t installed yet and have robbed the seals from that one and today we found a place we can order the seal kits so have 3 kits coming. Any ideas why we are blowing these? It’s always the same seal, it’s the one in the picture earlier in this thread.
Is there a worn spot in the valve block
Or too high pressure?
I’m not sure how to know, but the seal is a static seal, so it shouldn’t have wear where the seal seats. Also it’s not a very old valve. Also it doesn’t look like a blown out seal. The last one came out in two pieces, just fell apart. But they don’t seem brittle. We are wondering if by chance something is running too hot, so we do want to check the temperature when we get the system up and running again and work it long enough to heat up.
