We’re running a simple AIO V.4.5, with F9p and BNO085, teensy 4.1, steering using Keya wheel motor.
When I first set up the system, everything was working fine. After a while, the IMU stopped working. It shows no data in agopengps and its not coloured in AgIO
I suspected solder jobs first, so by process of elimination, replaced first the teensy, then IMU, then the AIO board. Only thing I haven’t replaced is the F9p.
Can an issue with the rtk module mess with the IMU? I thought about a I2C issue or something similar and took the F9p off, the imu data did not come up. Conf issue? The odd thing is it had values at first and we got the keya steering correctly.
Sometimes, random, they’ll stop responding. If you reboot via AGIO subnet change (don’t change anything, just press send), they come back OK. Did you try that?
Yes, I tried the subnet change, also I tried turning UDP completely off/on, here are the results
Still no response from IMU, the thing is, the first IMU worked, then got dark, then I replaced the IMU with a presoldered one, no data, then I replaced it with another presoldered one, no data. As said the teensy has also been replaced.
I’m still suspecting a configuration issue in the new Teensy, or a RTK module issue that somehow messes with the IMU aswell, I don’t know if they are linked in anyway other than the teensy compiling their data.
Then try to configure teensy with something not using keya. Cytron does not need to be present.
If you get green IMU now, then you know, you need another version of keya configuration.
(As far as I remember, there has been put in a small delay in the ino, to wait for bno085 to finish start up)
The original issue was with the teensy I soldered. All went green on AGIO after I configured a new, presoldered teensy with “Keya non-rvc” from the config-o-matic.
Now everything else works but steering doesn’t. WAS values, gps values, IMU values are all correct, wheel is green in AGIO. PWM values are zero.
I was tidying up the wiring of Keya wheel after I got AGIO lights green, but I didn’t mess with the canbus wiring. Might not be the correct cofiguration afterall.
