You can probbably update it yourself thats not the problem. I would rather discuss about the price. I bet I can put together a whole autosteer system within the price of this tablet. It is a monster indeed but from day 1 I started AOG, this community always looked how to keep it affordable.
About the price… A new FZ-G1 is $3000 USD from Amazon. On BuySellGPS, a new John Deere G5 display is $6,495. $1100 for that heavy duty of a tablet, new, is a good price. I’m not saying I would buy it, given the availability of refurbished FZ-G1s, but if I was looking for a new (as in not refurbished) autosteer tablet, I certainly would.
