Calibration and settings for new holland t7 steer ready

Setting up agopen on a new holland t7225 steer ready. Bought what i needed set up ready from Andy (not sure what his name is on here, spoke to him through the farming forum)

Got it all working but just fine tuning, should i be selecting the “Danfoss” option in the wizard? Did the wizard without selecting that option and it works, but maybe needs a tweak, its sitting between 0 and 4 or 5cm on a-b line. Seems quite reactive to crossing bumps. Receiver is right on back of cab on original cnh Receiver plate so might move that forward if it will help and check box in cab is real solid.

Where is your PCB placed, have you checked you have the imu orientation correct.

When the tractor tilts to the right the roll number should be positive and negative to the left.

No don’t select Danfoss, that is for an earlier non Canbus Danfoss valve.

Antennae on that back plate normally works well.

Min to move is usually set at 1 or 2 on canbus
Pgain quite low 20ish
Max limit 150
Imu gps slider quite high at 90ish towards imu
Check your roll is the right way as mentioned.
If its steering one side of the line move the was zero number one way until it steers both side of the line. Ive had was zero as high as 5 on a canbus nh.
Where is your pcb mounted, side of the seat works best
Leave danfross settings off

Yes orientation is correct and calibrated when level. Box is sat next to the seat on the right. WAS seems pretty good for centered have checked. P gain was 20-30 i think without checking. Pure pursuit was about 2.2 min move was on 1. No idea on the gps slider where do i find that? Counts per degree and ackerman match at full lock. Where would you put hold look ahead, look ahead speed gain and intergral to start with?

Gps slider is in the settings tab then configuration then navigate your way to the imu section. Default is set at 70%. Put it up to 90 or 95%
Steer response approx 3
Try integral on 10
Can spend/waste hours chasing the last few cm’s. Anything below 4 or 5 is acceptable. The xte is extremely sensitive so dont get too hung up on the number’s

Ok thanks. Its been too wet to do anything much with it yet, but it seems pretty good repeating the same pass in the same wheelings and pretty straight without wiggles
