I’ve been trying to get an AOG setup on my 2005 Challenger MT845 (A). I haven’t been able to get AOG to communicate with tractor. Using AIO v4.5 board. I’ve uploaded sketches in ide from lansalot change code and techagnz. Tried to set tractor for both early and late MT and neither steer tractor in AOG. Also, used AOGConfigOMatic and uploaded CANBUS for AIO (w/ CatMT support) but when I try to set model in ide it shows setting CatMT and rebooting. Then when Teensy reboots it shows no model selected from service tool.
Connected to can bus at 4 pin extension. Tractor had a Trimble in it and that worked fine before.
This is the first tractor I am using CANBUS on, any help is greatly appreciated!
The ino should work but when we tested originally it was on a C series connected to the isobus of the tractor. We understood that the A and B were suposed to be the same but it seems there is something different.
In the ino there is two cat mt brand settings. The old model is what we found works on A series if you connect the teensy to the j1939 rather than the isobus so maybe you try connecting teensy to j1939 and selecting the old MT brand.
I would think the isobus connector would work. That is where the Trimble was connected.
I updated translator controller from 2833405-00 to newest version 3220266-00. Still no success.
There is a ISO service plug in fuse panel but looks like that is just tied in with the ISO extension.
If I plug into the CAT diag service J1939 do you know what pins to use. Everything on Google shows pins C and D however I do not have pins in C.
Found a wiring diagram for J1939. Unfortunately still cannot get it steering. Connected green to D and yellow to E. When I try to engage I just get communication error codes from all controllers on tractor.
Finally having some success on Pins F & G of J1939. Steering will engage for a few seconds. Even kick on and off rapidly a few times. Tracks does move a bit. Any advise on settings in AOG? I set all the PWM to what was listing in the ino
Made adjustments to AOG and was able to get this tractor steering extremely well. It’s unreal how well it even does headland turns! Thank you for the help on where to get connected to the tractor. I’ll try upload a video of it in action
