First test this afternoon on the kitchen table of a Witmotion um982.
Got it connected to an AIO 4.5 standard board and could get RTK fix no problem with some base stations but wouldn’t seem to connect to my own.
Does the UM982 need a particular message sending out of the base?
Also seemed much longer count I think 600 seconds before losing signal?
The picture is when connected to your base?
The picture may be a bit misleading, I had been connected to a different base then switched to mine.
The counter goes to 600 seconds then drops to GPS single.
Then more details about your base.
Your UM983(rover) is fine since you say you have a fix connected to other bases.
The same picture, do you see messages in the box under “found”?
If so, maybe the receiver is not properly configured.
Then, what hardware and software is used as base?, which caster?
Also, the 600 second before drop can be adjusted via a configuration line.
The picture is of my base which appears to be connected until the age reaches 600 then drops to single.
I’m using a F9p with WiFi ntrip master.
I wasn’t sure wether I may need to add specific messages for the UM982.
Please clarify if you at any time within those 600 sec. were connected to another base.
To me it sounds like you were connected to a valid base, and then shift to your own base, seconds start counting the moment you disconnect from the valid base.
At this moment (Monday )TWYFORD, does not seem to be up!
But the 5 numbers you have under Found in your picture, is what normally work as base for a F9P rover, I do not know what else should be needed for an UM.
But why not check the numbers you see under Found, when using a valid base, and then set your base to output same numbers.
Okay thanks this sounds correct I had been connected to a different base.
TWYFORD is now on rtkdata and I was connected today with a different tractor.
I’ll look at updating the messages as I also have a couple of neighbours interested in connecting Trimble and Topcon systems.
Many thanks for the help.
