The jack works i’ve tested it just on the desk yet top setup for field.
reducing volume of fertilizer though without altering drop point - is there any advantage - i guess it keeps your applied rate accurate to actual field area.
You could achieve same affect by sending a lower speed pulse to Calibrator so in the teensy if setup for 2 sections and 1 is off reduce the speed signal to calibrator by 1/2 and it will also lower the rate.
I can’t get stable com betweeen AgopenGPS and bogballe zurf with the new 6.3.1.
I was spreading fertiliser in April with 6.2.0 without problems, but now with 6.3.1 I can’t get correct spreed and sections. It seems the commuication is delayed and drops.
Reverted back to 6.2.0 and it was proper.
Interesting, I’ll look into it. Has the PGN structure or frequency changed in 6.3.1?
Updated the code today to better handle the increased volume of data coming from AgIO. There’s a mysterious ‘64’ PGN which has been added and slowed everything down.
Parsing is now improved, and I’ve merged the exe files from @Bje6t54vd - Thanks Jakob!
Give it a try and see how it works.
Hello CQuick, hello to the whole community,
I recently acquired a Bogballe M35W with a totz calibrator. I use AgOpenGPS as a guidebar only, in USB only, for now.
I would like to ask you because the Python program cannot communicate with AOG. Here is the message that is displayed on the “Python cmd”: “Not connected to AgIO”.
I followed the procedure on the GitHub as best as possible but I fear I missed something… the link which explains how to create a virtual loopback adapter does not work step. Is it already considered in the Python script ?
I don’t use any USB cell modem, for information. I share my phone connection.
Would you have any answers to my questions please ?
You need some kind of network adapter for the system to work. AgIO needs to have UDP enabled
For now, here’s an archived version of the guide. I’ll make a copy sometime soon and add it to the repo.
Hi there,
I’m looking at buying a new Bogballe spreader, is this code stable enough that I could spec it with a ZORF OR TOTZ control box and be comfortable that it will work?
Yes, I’d say so. I’ve never had to control my spreader with anything else.
I used it all this season. Spread 120ha in total with it.
Used it with M35W with Zurf terminal.
Still having issues using it with latest v6.3.3, but working good with v6.2.
