I can’t get rtk fix from my own base station that uploads to rtkdata.online. i also can’t keep the screen from rotating or lines jumping when I’m dgps. I’m at my witts end because i have wheat to plant and i can’t see my row marker in the hay stubble.
You need to check the signal level from the satellites. This can happen when the signal is jammed.
You can see the lines are all over. And where it stops is where the line went crazy and disconnected and rotated big time
I would appear that you have RTK float by the yellow satellite icon
Is your internet connection solid?
Only states dgps in the left hand corner. And yes, i have my cellphone with mobile hotspot turned on with good 5g connection.
I don’t think signal jamming is going to be an issue in Michigan.
I’d try forgetting RTK for right now. Does it steer ok? Without RTK should steer straight, just drift over time. If the position is still jumping around, it isn’t a base issue.
Jumping around and screen rotates. I am in an area where i have no issues with the gps from equipment from work. Granted those antennas cost 5x what i have invested in this.
I only need it to steer straight. Drift over time doesn’t bother me.
If you have good cellular coverage somewhere in Michigan, I don’t see why you would not obtain perfect RTK accuracy with the F9P receiver, in practise the same quality as from your expensive commercial products. Just need to figure out what is wrong currently.
RTK helps in so many aspects even if RTK accuracy/repeatability was not needed.
I’m in Wisconsin but i am using um982 with a single antenna on the ant 1 side.
You sure of a good connection on the hardware side? Are you getting enough satellites? Maybe post a picture of the gps status drop-down
Perhaps the antenna connectors or something else on the board was damaged when you unsoldered them and moved them to the other side of the board.
