Hello all. Started to install AOG to steerready MF 6718S build 2020. After some fiddeling AOG came to live and works. Had some help in the telegram group. But one thing does not work: engaging AOG through joystick button. Here my setup:
AIO4.1 PCB
-This file on teensy AIO_v4_CANBUS_Firmware
I can engage by pressing steer icon on screen. I can disengage by joystick button (headland management)
@andyinv has done a few masseys .
It might be though you need 2 canbus chips and the 4.1 only has one or you might be luckily like I was with the fastrac and the engage message was missing from the v4 canbus firmware files.
Just an idea but have you looked at the coding for massey in the v4 files your using and then looked in the v5 or the canbus board codes see if you can see anything different.
When i looked earlier on the jcb firmware there was an extra line for joystick engage in the v5 folder that wasn’t in the v4 folder (but is now).
No, have not. Where to do that exactly? So have to set resume? I do not understand your answer. My englisch language is not very well. What is the dot matrix screen?
Hello, I’m also going to install an autoguidance system on a Massey 8650, with a micro 4.1 PCB and a Keya steering wheel. Where do you connect to the tractor’s CAN bus?
My Massey Ferguson 8650 doesn’t have hydraulic steering, which is why I’m installing a Keya engine. I’d like to be able to engage the steering with the headland control button and also control the rear linkage. But I don’t know where to connect to the tractor’s CAN bus.
Dont think you’ll be able to. The v4.1 only has 1 canbus chip on it
You’ll need an early v2.5 board to do that and there isn’t any keya code that supports factory fitted buttons as far as i know
