Excentric mecanism for gear steering

hello

I just tested a new concept to connect gear to gear with an excentric solution

Today the excentric permit to have 12 mm of range that can be convinant with majority of gear size

as advantage -When you rotate the excentric automatically the gear rotate taht can be helpfull for syncronyse gear teeth
-There is no adjustment

  • there is few parts

as drawbacks
-It is really slow to activate and desactivate it

  • Lot of friction due to big diameter and small play

I do the metal sheet version as only cutting version and a version to 3D printer
