Exporting files to Deere Operations Center

Has anyone tried to import the Fields.kml into Ops Center? I bring the KML into QGIS and export the shapefile files, using the standard projection WGS84 (EPSG:4326). But when I bring it into Ops center, everything is shifted north about 100’ and doesn’t line up with the actual land projection displayed in the maps center. If I try to export a boundary from Ops center, built from a workfile from my 4940 with a Starfire3000, it’s lined up fine, and exports in the same coordinate system.

Anyone have any ideas of how to adjust AOG kml files so they line up in Ops Center?

I did it the other way around, through NEXT farming’s wayline converter, they have a free version and was simple enough to convert but I don’t think it will convert ab curves

Do you have a link, I found references to it on the Massey site but can’t get into it from anywhere I’ve found.

Also, how do you mean “did it the other way around”? I’m just hoping to take the KML file in the AOG fields folder and find a format that doesn’t offset it in Ops Center. I’m not even sure it’s a AOG issue, since a Trimble file also offsets. Maybe it’s because we’re pretty far north here and the coordinate system needs an adjustment of some sort.

I registered an account with NEXT farming and installed the windows program that it wants to have running in order to connect to the website and upload files, but it never seems to find a removable drive when I insert it. It’s a strange workflow since it doesn’t seem like you can upload local files and doesn’t find USB drives that are inserted.

Ah well, I’ll see what else I can try. Thanks anyway.

Weird, I uploaded John Deere files that were exported in 2630 format ( i believe it’s called… The old one) and just plugged the USB in to the computer and it found it pretty quick and then imported the boundary and the ab line I needed and exported them to isoxml 3.3 and imported them into agopen, thought it would work the other way around aswell
