I have noticed now and then a field I made will disappear when I look back with my sprayer. I am planning on doing some strip till this fall, so I want to make sure I don’t accidentally delete any fields in my tractor’s tablet as I will use them in the spring again for planting. I usually hit the field menu, then click close field, then hit the X to close AgOpenGPS, then power down the tablet. What would cause an occasional lost field?
how are you looking for the “lost” field?
if you select drive in it brings the nearest fields up
if you select op it opens your whole saved list
I have never ‘lost’ a field from data corruption from closing wrong, but I will say that the Beta 2 version seems to have an automated ‘clean’ shutdown procedure when you hit the X. Not sure if this happens anyways and the popup is only because it’s Beta, but I like it.
There is an option to choose where AgOpen is pulling it’s user data from, default directory is “C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\AgOpenGPS”

I wonder if you maybe on to something with the directory of where it pulls fields from. I updated AgOpenGPS on the sprayer a while back so it had two versions on it until I made sure the new version was working. Maybe the fields are being stored in two different locations. The sprayer seems to have fields I can’t find. My tractor does not seem to have that issue.
