Just got two assembled v4.5 Micros, they look great (JLCPCB). One thing I didn’t catch until after we had them is the two LEDs right at the front for RTK from the F9Ps were not populated. Any idea why this is? I know it has LEDs “behind” the F9Ps, but we also got the front panel with the see through spots. We can stick some LEDs in it, but curious why they’re not there by default.
All of the v4.5 boards I have received had all 4 LED’s on the front panel. Did you check the BOM to make sure they are there? Was there a shortage and you clicked “Don’t place”? Thoroughly check all the files for the board. If JLCPCB made an error, you can file a claim with them. If they made an error they will usually offer a refund or credit.
Mine have the 3 LEDs between the 23 pin and Ethernet jack, but the two smaller LEDs directly in front (antenna side) of the F9P’s are not there. They are specifically set to not be included in the BOM, so I’m curious why that is.
You can see on the schematic that LED1/R31 (and the matching pair for the right GPS) are not to be placed. So JLCPCB built them correctly, I just don’t know why those “Front” RTK LEDs are turned off in the BOM.
