I’m just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to get a steer ready Massey Ferguson 7718 steering with a AIO V4.5 board.
Flash it with this firmware:
Find the thread for the 6718S here on the forum for suggestions on the pins to find the valve on.
Thankyou for that, is it as simple as connecting the 2 can wires to the correct plug in the tractor?
pretty much!
Is the AIO capable of using the Masseys factory engage/disengage button?
Yes, you will need to use the firmware in the Boards download, the configomatic has (or had) an earlier version without the button code added.
Would it be one of these?
Thats on configomatic
Look in the boards repo and choose the aio v4 canbus option i think like @TeddyStamford suggested
When I load that configuration I get no gps, do I need to change something? GPS is configured properly and everything runs properly when I load Teensy with Keya firmware to run one I’ve got but not when I load the Canbus firmware.
Edit: Having a read on here, do I need to set something on a service tool? Where is it? Does it only appear if the canbus is pluggedin?
You need to plug the teensy into your computer and open the arduino ide software used to upload sketches. Go to serial monitor on the top bar
Enter S then send
Enter P (for panda gps) then send
You can also select your tractor brand aswell
You could be using the canbus firmware for the canbus boards but you said you’ve got the aio board
