Hi I’m based in North Yorkshire and looking at putting together a setup to steer a self-propelled sprayer and was wondering if any one had done so in the past and had any helpful advice or tips before I start or links to what I will need?
I’ve done two self propelled sprayers recently, both using a Keya motor for steering, a KTC linear sensor for the WAS, AIO PCB.
Both steer nicely,
Chafer/MB
And a SANDS
The Chafer is using the RC11 Rate control PCB for section and rate control, the Sands has a UDP relay module for section control, kept the RDS Delta for rate control.
Nice and easy compared to tractors, good access to fit Keya motor and the WAS easy to mount and mirror the front steering ram.

Could you shown where and how you mounted the KTC Linear sensor on the Sands Sprayer.
Also how long was the sensing range of the sensor you used?
Anywhere thats parallel with the steering ram is good fo mount.
As for length turn steering 1 way and measure the travel to the other way
