Orbital appears to be a OSPB250 ON, which is Open Centre, its just whether 30L is the right valve? And I see some in a post on here it says about using tees to plumb in the OC valve, I’m assuming that was if it was a closed centre system?

Your combine harvester has an OC steering valve and you need to connect a typical OC valve in series between the pump and the steering valve (orbitrol). In the 7xx series, there is a closed system without Ls, i.e. the orbitrol has 4 hoses, but the P line has a constant pressure of 180 bar and in the middle position, P is not connected to T. For this type, I have a special valve that needs to be connected with tees.
I was able to do this a couple of days ago. There was just a very small flow when actuating the proportional solenoids.
I was not able to do any testing beyond this with the relief valve. I am currently using the tractor for lime spreading. When I’m done and have some more time, I’ll check the relief valve. I now have received some fittings to check the load sense pressure with a gauge. If I adapt a gauge to the swing valve port (M10 thread), is this a suitable place to check load sense pressure?

Would it be acceptable to use the CCLS valve on a tractor with non-reactive orbitol per this schematic? This would be easier to install when the orbitol plumbing is not easy to reach. I know the power beyond flow is lower priority and U turn performance may suffer when lifting implements, and the safety is not the same, but this is the same plumbing as Trimble and Raven are using?
I was tempted to tee into steering lines and block the O ports, as you say many OEM retro fit kits do these including JD etc.

I have a dedicated power switch for pin 18 Cytron input and the power to the Lock relay for the Baraki valves, so can fully isolate the Baraki valve on the public highway.
Going to wire a switch in on brake pedal too, to kick autosteer out the moment it’s touched and before the physical brakes are activated.
Are there any consequences to having the steering hoses that long Teddy? I think you can remove the pressure sensor from the block, cap the connection, and then use a Tee for the sensor into the orbitol load sense line? It looks good, similar to what I was thinking.
I’m just trying to have a plan B and plan C before I order a valve. For my setup I think the valve will have to be on the rear of the tractor like yours Teddy. All the connections at the orbitol are steel lines behind the muffler and exhaust shield, I think I cannot add anything there. I think I can access all the proper priority valve fittings at the rear of the tractor, but if I cannot then I want to use power beyond.
The steering hoses are about 1.8m long from Baraki valve to where I join the factory steel lines to the front axle above cab steps:
Of course if Tee into steering line, could half the length oil travels from orbital to steering cylinder.
I’ve road tested it and it feels exactly the same, you cannot tell any difference.
The priority lines from pump on this tractor are all steel and I would have to replace them all with flexible hose.
Power beyond is not used on this tractor so was easy decision.
I have spoken with a Baraki valve user in UK who has used Power beyond to power his Baraki valve on JD6830, he says even lifting heavy mounted seed drill and front linkage with cultivator at the same time has no noticeable difference on steering.
I wired up the Pressure transducer in case I needed to change install.

One more last concern I have. If mounting the valve on the rear of the tractor and completing all the plumbing as Baraki intended, then the LSO line becomes quite long. Is there any concern about that adding any kind of delay? The tractor is LS-dynamic, so I think it would be ok?
If LS dynamic, which almost all steering LS lines are, there is always small residual pressure draining to Tank, so it should be fine.
I don’t like adding lots of extra pipes and connections as all are increasing the chance of a leak or burst hose.
I think you will have to fit a loop hose from lso to tank otherwise the ls line won’t drain to tank and hold pump on high pressure when valve is not active.

I think you can do it this way.
If there are problems with releasing the pressure, you should do as you say. Theoretically, with a static Ls it should work with a blank one.
