I think I have jumped the gun.
I started looking into ag open gps, got exited, ordered pcbs and some components then realised after when some of the parts were obsolete that I have ordered a really old version of the system (V2). Got back on here, did what I should have done (more reaserch) to realise some of the parts such as the MMA8452Q are not supported, fortunately not ordered this part yet.
Two questions, can I replace MMA8452Q with a MMA8451?And will I be able make a functioning autosteer sysytem with this board? or should I just ditch what I have (the majority of the parts and 5 boards) and start again and chalk this one up to experience.
Any advice constructive advice (including learing not to run before you can walk) greatly received.
I still use a V2 board, so it can work with AOG v6.7
Just assemble one of your pcb but without the mma.
Then you can learn how AOG work.
The mma can be replaced with bno085 if you want, but not needed, just drive without roll.
I do use the pcbv2 together with a panda board, and using UDP, but I would suggest to get going with what you have, and later(when PCBv6 comes out) perhaps order that one , or what board might be the new at the time.
Enjoy learning time
Edit: or ask if someone in UK have a spare assembled PCB v4.x you can get.
