I need help figuring out what to buy

I’ve been researching this program a lot. I have an ez steer I can use and I will just buy a rasberry pi to run aog. Just need to know everything else I need. We already have a trimblr rtx basestation with <1 inch accuracy. Hoping it would work with aog. I have 3d printer to make anything that is needed to! Im not to worried about getting autoturn at the ends working. (I found a steering angle sensor for 5 bucks and princess auto so I bought it anyway.) I would like to not need any cellular connection(for example hotspotting from phone). I would like to directly connect to our basestation. Im not scared to assemble the stuff myself. Id rather not buy a kit. Im just getting a little lost though! I do have a few antenna from trimble. I was wondering if this would be of any use. I will post pictures

What you gonna do with the raspberry pi?

My plan is to run the software on it. Otherwise I may just get a windows tablet, ill see

You’ll need a windows tablet to be able to run agopengps, how else will it work?

I thought that Rasberry pi can run windows though??

:thinking: the Panasonic toughpad or similar running windows which then runs the agopengps programme is a must id say. How else will you see and set any lines/boundaries and steer etc
Are you or me getting confused between running guidance or setting up an rtk base ststion as a raspberry pi is used in that setup
Have you read the wiki, everything you need and links to most things are there to get you started

No, I was just planning on installing windows on a rasberry pi then building a case for it then mounting it on the back of a touschscreen monitor. They are just much easier to get then a good, durable, windows tablet. Athough, now thinking about it, a tablet would lrobably be better. Where would i find one? It would be nice to buy new

Not sure where you are but the majority would be buying a used Panasonic fz-g1. There are other makes and models that suit. You dont need to buy new, 2nd hand is good enough. As long as it runs windows 10 or newer and has an ethernet or usb port I’ll be good.
Over here in the uk, ebay would be a popular choice to buy from, FB market place is another source.
On the wiki it lists tablets choices that work and also ones that dont.

I just bought 2 Panasonic FZ-G1 Toughpads off of eBay. Shipped within Canada to my door for $158 each. I think these are a good value to run Agopengps
