I’ve had to set the GPS antenna offsets to the left antenna location in order to get the row spacing correct. I don’t recall this being the case with dual GPS setups, that it worked by equally spacing the antennas left and right. Maybe I’m wrong?
I don’t remember if it’s left or right, but you have to enter one of the two antenna position, one is indeed the “master”(position)
In a dual system the position comes from only one antenna. The other antenna is used for heading and roll. For AgOpenGPS the right antenna is the position antenna.
Maybe I’m set to the right antenna now, I changed the sign until it started lining up the correct spacing. The antenna are off to the same amount either side. Seems like you would need to know what the other antenna offset is as well to get correct roll so I figured the assumption was that the antennas were equidistant and the middle of them was the tractor centerline.
This is probably an issue I’ve had since I moved to dual GPS and mitigated using WAS zero instead. Derp.
You can figure AOG to work with either side being the main position antenna. First, configure the main position antenna the same way as you do a single, then if your heading is incorrect, adjust it with the optional setting on the Dual/Single settings page.
