JLCPCB ordering questions

After a lot of reading and a lot of research I finally decided to dip my toes into building my own GPS system.
Finally decided the place in order for some pcvs but running into issues with the ordering itself.
I understand some things jlcpcb does not carry, and I will have to source them myself which should be no issues but some of the things seem pretty small like capacitors and LED lights you would think they should have on hand.

If I order the boards as configured will they wait to ship until the back order/shortfall parts are in stock or will I have quite a bit of assembly/ parts sourcing to do myself to complete the board.
(Mainly concerned about the shortfall parts)

I apologize for my ignorance.

Somebody else will probably chime in with a better answer, but to get you a quick answer- many of the items you can “search” for equivalents. There are cross reference lists in different places on the forum here. Or, you can go on to the “parts” side of JLCPCB and purchase all the parts they have in stock as well as get some of the missing pieces on order.

I did a combination of cross referencing some parts, and then I put a parts order in for everything, and when it was all in stock a week or two later I was able to “use” the parts I had purchased to build my PCB.

Thank you, I guess I have some more researching to do for cross reference parts.
Seem to be having success so far.

Too bad there isn’t a way to put your order in and let them source the parts as needed to ship the completed boards.

I see 10 CAN transievers, so I guess this is a v2.4 board?
Unless you need two CAN bus AND analog WAS, I would suggest to use either CANBUS board or an AiO v4.5.

Wow, yeah that was a version 2.4 board I didn’t realize I was way behind. That simplifies things a lot going to version 4.5 :man_facepalming:

I realized I should have made it clear in my original post, all I’m looking to do with this setup is wass and RTK auto steer.

Maybe one day in the future some sort of rtk guidance for pulling a scraper. I am realizing I don’t know half as much as I need to, So that’s in the distant future and not a concern at the moment.

Okay, so now I got something to work with.
Thank you
