Many thanks. Keep us updated if you have news. Great work. Best regards.

Few month pas and i improve my original concept to add more adjustement

The original system is keeping but now we can adjust the height or the angle to be more compatible
A slot for the switch is created

Because a lot of request to get printing version, i do two versions according imperial 10-24 or metric M5 screw ( require gear )
or if you like steel version you can get it to do laser cut

It is compatible with motor Phildget 3269 or MFA como drill 986D41 (Rs, gotronic , farnel…)

You can dowload here Files for clutch
This files included JD6030P or JD R solution but can be used to ther model of tractor or combine

you can dowload the steering gear to do friction type with steel or gear type with full3D printing

even if it is not the topic i already adapt to other tractor or combine (claas, mc cormick) by keeping the similar concept just need a bracket

Soon i wil post my solution of bracket for jd 00,10 … series by using this universal clutch

Your project is very cool. Adapts it to the fenda 412. I think it will be perfect

What kind of sensor/lever do you use on the clutch for detecting steering on/off?

I use this common microswitch ( so AOG is manage as Switch mode)

it is fix with M3 bolt and i ajust with sliding on the side slot of motor bracket

I give some update to meet John deere with 6*00,6*10… 6M with similar steering collone

So you can dowload bracket files , the steering gear and the clutch mecanism

also as requested :

I update the clutch mecanism:
to print in 3D or metal sheet cut
to meet metric (M5) or imperial bolt

Thanks for other user guys that i know @Mueller , @lolo85 @CHARBONNAUD and other that i dont know that they make on John Deere tractor or other brand :yum:

I’m looking for maybe some files for brackets that would be able to go on a 6000-, 6010-, 7000- or 7010-series steering column. A friend of mine would like to start with AgOpen and hes got 7800.

Like it is shown in @Mueller video.

Love the simplicity!

Maybe someone knows how to reach out to Sven Mayer? Tried to get into contact via commenting under his video, but maybe he hasnt noticed it till now.

Kind regards.

Afternoon. Ive been looking at this with some interest. Would something like this fit on a 6930 easily. And are the files to make it easily avaible? As im not overly tec savvy when it comes to things like files etc. Thanks in advance

Welcome😃
Try the magnifying glass at top right.
Type something like john deere 69 and you get 14 answers.
A lot is about hydraulic steering but sone might be with gears and motor.
Oh forgot to tell, that pictures inside posts posted about two years ago and before are gone forever, because forum was moved.

if you like Steel parts i have solution
i have 3d printing solution also

also tell us witch model you have basic or premium

I have a 6930 standard. Would the steel parts last longer or be less liable to get damaged im guessing rather than a 3d printed one.

I replaced the gear with the universal gear. But keept the clutch. This is on a 6230 Premium.
The teeth in this solution was too smal in my opinion, tried them but they just wear out

choose according your skill and how you can do

I see the link to the forum discussion, but where is the actual files to review?

hello do check this link :

I’m pretty sure that is the download/link i used to begin with. he is using some different style pieces in the assemblies pictured. I didn’t see the cut files for those in the metric sheet metal folder, so maybe it was in the imperial version? Either way the reason i was asking for more help was I didn’t know how to interpret what this photo meant/how to assemble that.

Hello

in this link

on this 3 files

the “banane” & “excentrique” will be make the link for cluctching

the “ecrou can ajust the position of " excentrique” so you will turn to add/remove play ±2mm

the green line show to tap both parts to link toghether and the second hole will be to lock…

you can see this parts of video to see the effect

Does anyone have anything similar to this for a 6e or d series Deere? Really struggling with the bracket situation for my 6105e, looking for ideas. Thanks

Nothing under this cover to bolt on?
