Kaupoi 4.1 PCB + UDP + BNO085

Hello,
I am using the forum since last winter to built up my system.

The problem is with the BNO085 - I did not get any data and it does not get green in the AgIO overview.

For the PCB a Kaupoi 4.1 is in use and I connect it via UDP. The BNO085 is mounted directly on the board.

When I check the serial monitor with the ArduinoIDE the BNO085 is found correctly.

When I check the chart for the roll check nothing happens.

Right now for me it is not clear what is wrong or how I could check the BNO085.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I dont know much about that pcb board but Normaly bno comes up when gps i connected.

So when gps is green so will be the bno. Due to the panda message.

Some correct me if i am wrong…

Have you configured Teensy with latest file ? (via AOGconfigumatic or another) About a year ago Teensy sometimes missed the BNO !

Looks, like your BNO085 is detected well during Start up!!

If your bno is connected directly to your nano v3 steering board (What your Kaupoi 4.1 PCB Configuration is) there is no indication on the IMU Symbol. BNO data is transfered via Steering board.

Load your vehicel data.

In older versions I had the problem with nano V3/ IMU Setup. No roll until machine data are loaded once, after powering up.

Did you check running it via usb, in this case you also have to selected COM Port to your steering PCB. (IMU port is not requíred)

Hi Folks!
Thanks for your response and comments!
@wland - you are absolutely right. The IMU symbol does not get green but it is working after GPS is working.

But now an additional question: how can I change the axis setup for the roll axis for the IMU?
I could only find the possibility in the setup to switch the direction for the case that rolling to the right is negativ.

Again, many thanks!

Andy explain it very well in his training video:
