Line shifting hotkey or remote control

Hi,
I sow my crops without tillage, with a disc seeder. To ensure better soil/seed contact, I like to sow between the rows of the previous crop. I only have to shift my reference line by 8cm. But as the seeder is trailed, so it’s not always good, so I have to play with the line offset all the time, 2cm left, 2cm right… Not easy to touch the screen while driving… If we could add a keyboard shortcut for these functions, that would be great. Another idea v on the forum, would be to have a PGN for hotkey or remote control functions.

Could it be a stationary trackball mouse?

Or a joystick where we can assign the keys we want.

I’m not sure using the ball mouse is easy in a moving tractor. I would rather go for a joystick solution, or a keypad.

How about guiding your seeder with an implement GPS receiver?

it will be a solution when it will be operational and official AGO…
But the guidance of a trailed disc tool will surely be a little challenging because of the delay between the action by the cylinder and the movement of the trailer.
Although, if I manage to do it by watching, I’m sure AGO can do it better than me!
But for now, a simple shortcut for these functions would make my job easier.
