I was testing my machine control board that will be used for clutch control on my planter and hooked up a spare HC-06 Bluetooth module that I had. Seems to work OK. Any reason this would not be a good idea? Should I be concerned with lag? I have a fertilizer monitor that I’ve used now for a couple years that is Bluetooth to my tablet in the tractor and haven’t had any issues with it so I wouldn’t expect any connection issues. Sure is nice not to have to run cables between the tractor and planter. Thoughts?
I used this module to connect a pcbv2 and operated the AOG autosteer for several years without noticing any latency or connection problems. the only time I had a problem was connecting an additional bluetooth headset to the PC, so maybe the connection used must be the only bluetooth connection.
