So on PCBV2 Red wire from NC goes to PWM2?
should work with anything from 100 ohm to 1k.
Yes no matter the board, if you have freewheel mod, cytron NC (red wire) to pcb PWM2.
If you have an unmodified Cytron, obviously it doesn’t matter.
Hi, would you show me how you solved the additional pcb cable going from the amp to 12v? I will be installing a 12v engine and would like to make sure nothing serious happens. This is my PCB
Hi all. Maybe someone fried Cytron with backfeed? I have mine working for couple of seconds, manualy turning but it makes nano to crash. Is there a way to test if Cytron is dead?
Hi everyone,
I’m building a Agopengps setup with a Phidgets motor together with a Cytron MD13S motor driver on an AIO 4.5 board. I’ve read about the Cytron mod, where some changes are made to prevent backfeeding from the motor to the driver.
My question is:
Is performing the Cytron mod enough to prevent backfeeding and to make sure the motor turns freely (without braking) when steering manually?
And a second question:
Should I connect the Phidgets motor directly to the Cytron MD13S motor outputs, or should it be connected through pins 5 and 6 of the Ampseal connector?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Yes. The cytron mod will make the wheel turn much easier. Hook the motor to the amp seal plug.
Thanks cowhound
