Hi everyone,
I’m trying to properly configure a 3-point sprayer implement in AgOpenGPS and I’m a bit confused about how to enter the correct width, offsets, and section settings.
This is the implement I’m using:
https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/fimco-200-gal-3pt-sprayer-complete-with-8-roller-pump-assembly-22-in-pro-spray-wand-12n-fx4-boom-2528742
I want to make sure the coverage is drawn correctly and that my AB lines reflect the true working width. For now, I’m running in simulation mode without autosteer, just following guidance lines manually.
If anyone can help confirm the correct settings or walk me through the best way to set up the tool, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

If you have no section control which I assume you don’t set the number of sections to whatever configuration you want that adds up to you total boom width. This sets your width. If you are using that sprayer in the normal manner there would be no offset.
Looks like it has a 3 section selector valve. Look like from the spec sheet. It has 12 nozzles on 20" spacing to cover 20’. You should put in 3- 80"
Sections to represent the three sections. If you have AgopenGps for autosteer I would set it up this way. If I was hand driving, I might make the outside sections 72" so I didn’t leave any untreated strips if I got off line a little
Didn’t see it mentioned, but you might want to set section painting in AOG field to “manual” . That way implement is constantly painted on screen, in the width you have set.
Remember to set coordinates to somewhere close to your home, before creating a field, else AOG can behave strangely.
Meaning: Do not use a field created in Sim with standard coordinates (unless you live in western Canada)
