I built version 2 I think a few years ago . Uses separate imu usb connections etc.
My question is there any difference in guidance accuracy from the old pcb to the new 4.5pcb

Do you mean the pcbv2? If you have already built the separate panda board that sends the fused gps/Imu then I don’t think you’d see any improvement in terms of accuracy from upgrading to the new board. If you haven’t built the panda board and are just running the stand alone pcbv2 and you want the cheapest option, build the panda board. It definitely improved accuracy, smoothed out the steering
,and made tuning easier for me. I will still run my pcbv2 till it quits on me.

Couple questions, I am running pcbv2. My system is USB. I have steer board, GPS module f9p, machine relay board all USB to USB hub the to toughpad. If I go panda board does it communicate via USB or will I need Ethernet shield for my boards that I will still be using, steer, relay

I pretty sure you can set it up over USB. If you decide to build the complete board for it, verses just wiring it up as the diagram shows, then I think I saw somewhere that you still have to run 12v to the board and you may have to cut a trace since so you don’t fry the teensy. I’ll have to do some searching or maybe someone who knows for sure can confirm.

Yes it is possible to run on usb i tried to find the post on the panda link

I don’t think 12v is required. If USB doesn’t supply sufficient power you can always add it.
If the board is powered with 12v then ideally the trace on the teensy is cut to protect the computer from getting fried if something shorts out on the teensy. Or you can take the USB cable and cut the red power wire in it.

I’ve got all the parts to build a panda board. But I’m having a old man brain fart. Can someone tell me what files I need to load on the teensy, also got a new rtk board with the f9p I think it needs some changes. I’m drawing a complete blank tonight and trying search bar seems to make me more confused
