Using 5.3 AgopenGPS…single antenna. V2 steering cytron board…Good constant RTK Fix…steering wizard show WAS working… 70 degrees and cloudless, no wind day…working perfectly until today now now matter what it will not follow AB line, rather it locks steering wheel to right and wants to drive in a circle. Has been working fine until today I put in a new implement in Agopen program, 40’ broadcaster and staked out and drove/recorded two new AB lines…one at 40’ off farm road’s edge and one at 10’. Now auto steer won’t follow any AB line…new or old…in any field file I have made on the field I am working in. Have power cycled many times, tried older maps of this field…made new AB line and only get right handed circles???..hopefully some else has experienced this and will share the solution…Thanks for any and all suggestions.
Sounds like you have no WAS signal.
BUT first, reseat both the nano and ads1115 , could be dry / corroded connections
Will check the nanno and 1115 in the morning…I love basic problems.
To test the WAS I went to the steering wizard and when I turn to right the number goes up and to the left it goes down. Will check WAS connections also.

I had it once where something screwed up with my settings and I think it was my motor direction was reversed or the WAS was inverted. Did a little like you said- increasingly faster hard turn one way all the way over. Didn’t work at all.
Thanks will look at those also…I am sure this is an “aha moment” in the making…but I am a nearly fatal optimist!

Update…
Reseated then nanno and 1115, both contacts looked fine…Checked cytron manual buttons and both make phidget motor rotate in opposite directions…checked all connections, all appeared ok…Now I can only get dgps even though Emlid show mount on line…and no auto steer,.using as glorified light bar to finish planting today and will make it another winter project!!! Any thoughts appreciated…
What does the WAS indicator show? What voltage is the WAS reporting?
since reseating the nano and the 1115 the WAS indicator in the steering wizard shows nothing when the wheel is turned.
Big push now to finish seeding, am using it as a light bar…will return to this next week.

As of yet I haven’t solved it entirely…have spent untold hours trouble shooting with ChatGPT assistance. …found that my AutoSteer V5 was incorrectly sending Cytron corrections out D4 and D5 on my Nano on a V2 steer board instead of D3 and D4…currently the when driving directly over the AB line with the Phidget friction wheel not touching the steering wheel the friction wheel moves correctly if you go left or right of the AB to get back on AB…however as soon as you engage friction wheel with steering wheel it spins the the tractor in a circle usually to the right??? AI seems to think it is in my seetings…Prorptional Gain, Look Ahead, etc…so many variables!!! Am now doing actual farming and using system as a glorified light bar…so near yet so far…will post solution, if I ever get one!
Does the steering angle value follows correctly if you turn manually to the left and to the right?
Did you set the WAS direction and the MOTOR direction correctly?
If you post some pictures / video, where we can see further details, autosteering settings, steering angle value, steering wheel move, so the community can help, without not.
Did you download the latest firmware?
Firmware V5…is there a newer one for a V2 Nano Cytron Board? Running AOG 6.3 on Surface in tractor…Invert steering/Cytron doesn’t help…AOG shows correct direction in Field…WAS signal is correct…positive for right, negative for left turn…steering slider in all menus moves in correct directions…ADC out put is working…Nano output to Cytron Correct on D3 and D4…Wiring is Correct to Cytron DIR, etc. pins…AI provided sketch to test Cytron signals to MA and MB all shows working…Testing of call tracers/pathways show voltages/signals going from/to where they belong…I’m pretty sure the problem lies in my steering settings…here are pictures of my steer configuration screens…I have tried all of them in many, many different values, but can’t seem to make it work…full auto steer stopped working fall 2024…stupidly(?) I updated the AOG on my surface to v6.3 when it quit working…One quirk that may mean something to someone, is is either Steer Wizard or AutoSteer Config screen where there is the invert Icon with a left turn arrow and right turn arrow…the arrows won’t change direction of rotation unless pushed several times and the motor then slows down incrementally and then reverses the motor direction correctly…as the turn arrow is pushed the PMW value decreases…Am currently doing Spring farming and using system as light bar…Base station/RTK working 99% of the time…lose a signal for 1-3 minutes 2 or 3 times a day…using Emlid caster.
I’m wondering what your antenna to rear axle setting is?
Antenna in same position as when system Autosteer worked. It’s on cab roof located 3 feet ahead of rear axle.
And your setting didn’t get changed somehow to where in the settings it’s set to the rear of the axle?
Pretty sure it is the same, but will check in the morning…am still hoping for a simple solution for this complex system.
First of all to be sure, replace your firmware for the nano with the latest one !!!

Then download your autosteering settings with SEND & SAVE. Afterwards check in manual if you can steer left and right correctly with the arrows.
Very impressive troubleshooting…it was set at 3 inches, which my brain converted to 3 feet everytime i looked at it. Tractor icon on screen much more stable…didn’t help auto steer yet. Probaly get to go through steer wizard one more time…will report back. Thanks
Yes that will greatly affect your cpd and other calculations.
