Couple of general questions about the different programs. I am looking to do some general slope work for drainage in my fields. Also building large flat pads around my yard sight. Correct me if I am wrong but this would take both Open grade and open grade 3d to do ? Is it possible in either program to just enter one elevation and have the blade be corrected to that height ?

OpenGrade would be the correct one to use.
You drive a path then you can draw the gradding line on this path. While gradding, OG will look which pt on the path is the closest from the actual position and will put the blade on this height.
“laser mode” will keep the blade on the same height.(no slope feature yet)
OpenGrade3D is for more advanced grading where the design is done in an external software
Ok great. I wondered what laser mode was on Open Grade. That will be a handy feature. Currently I use a laser with a magnetic indicator with large leds and I drive around real slow while manually chasing the arrows.
