Planter row clutches and liquid fertilizer valves

what options are there for controlling planter row clutches independently from the sections for the liquid fertilizer on a John Deere 7200 12 row planter do to the fact that my fertilizer coulters are 2 to 3 ft. ahead of my planter row units. This past year I used the planters half width disconnects for my row clutches . I am going to use them till I find some used rowclutches. For this coming year I am adding rate control using the rc15 board. I would like to run full 12 row section control for the liquid. I would be using 2 watt solenoid valves.

I fear you would have to build some timer in the machine module. AOG start the fertilizer, the machine board start it, then use the speed to calculate the seed start a little later.

that was one thought but if you have to slow down it won’t be completely accurate. I thought of running two tablets one for the planter and one for the liquid .

You could derive the time delay using the rate, if you know your seed shaft pulses or whatever it could be just after x many pulses of seed, start the fert. That way it won’t matter your speed it will still be accurate

I think he must start fertilizer before seed.
