Plowing with RTK

Good evening everyone, I’m new to the group so I hope I’m posting in the right place and following the correct guidelines.

My name is Alberto, and I have recently installed GPS guidance systems on two of my tractors.

Specifically, I would like to use the RTK system on my largest tractor for on-land plowing. Many people have told me that I need to set an offset, but I am having trouble configuring it in the software. Could you help me out?

Here are some of my parameters:

  • Tractor width: 250 cm
  • Plow: 3-furrow on-land plow, total working width of 150 cm (50 cm per furrow).
  • Standard setup: Usually, when the plow is in the working position, the furrow wall just created aligns with the center of the tractor.

Is that a reversible plough? In that case you cannot put any offset. Coverage painting would not be exactly right but the tractor would drive correctly as long as you set the working width to match your plough.

Yes, It is a reversible plough.

If I’ve understand, the working width of the plow is 1.50 meters, so if I put 1.50 meters the painting won’t be correct but the work yes.
