RC15 JLCPCB order

Hello all, I am trying to order the RC15 PCB on JLCPCB and I am getting no parts selected for C10, C12, J5 and J6. Are there substitutions for these parts?
TIA

What I’ve always wanted to ask @SK21 why C10 and C12 are not specified in the component list?

Search here for similar parts: Find Electronic Components by Category - JLCPCB

For C10: RVT1V471M1010 470UF 35V | DMBJ | Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors - SMD | JLCPCB

For C12: RVT1V331M1010 | Honor Elec | Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors - SMD | JLCPCB

J5 and J6 were mistakenly included in the BOM. They are only connection points for power and ground. There are no components for them.

They are listed in the BOM, but it is out of date now. Rate_Control/ESP32/RC15/jlcpcb/production_files at main · AgOpenGPS-Official/Rate_Control · GitHub

Thank you. I looked for substitutions but wasn’t sure what the voltage rating needed to be for the capacitors. Also, the BOM calls for a size of 10x10.5 while the substitutions are 10x10.2. Does that .3mm difference in size matter? I also have a question on quantity. When I put RVT1V471M1010 in for C10 the quantity is 0.

Also, if I am ordering 5 boards shouldn’t the part quantities be in multiples of 5?

Anyone?

I just ordered a set of these this weekend. So I can’t answer your question about size being an issue as I have never seen a rc15 board yet. I did have to select standard PCB instead of economy as it states on the C10 line standard only. Which might not be necessary since they emailed me back later saying rvt1v471m1010 isn’t compatible with the high temp solder. They gave me the option of using a lower temp solder which would cost a $35 service fee. I opted to leave C10 unpopulated and purchase them separately as that was cheaper anyway.

I believe the ESP32 module is standard only, and the bottom center ground pads would be difficult to solder without specialized equipment, so RC15 is basically always going to be standard only?

Thought I would give an update. I did have to switch to standard assembly. Input the substitutions for C10 and C12 and completed my order. The next day I received the same email Shane did and opted to have C10 depopulated. Would this be a good substitute for C10 to hand solder?

Should work, use flux for easier soldering

I watched a few videos prior to removing C10 from the order to see if I am up to the task of soldering it myself. This video seemed to give some good insight.

Have you received your RC15 boards yet? Mine have been stuck at 22% progress since 3/7.

Yes I did receive them a couple weeks ago already. They took about a week to process and complete. Probably would hurt to send them an email and check in on them.
