I setup a RTK Base, using NTRIP with the local caster and it all seems to work fantastic with AgOpen! But I have a Case 310 that’s running a Pro 1200 Monitor for Autosteer/GPS, with NTRIP that I didn’t switch over to AgOpen yet just to have one less monitor in there. I type all my credentials in on the 1200 and it just says no compatible mount point. I’ve got a friend that tried with his 1200 with same results. That same friend also has a his own NTRIP base station running SNIP as a caster and works flawlessly on both of our 1200’s. I trimmed down the RTCM messages on my base to match what he was outputting (1006(1),1008(1), 1033(1), 1074(1), 1084(1), 1230(1)) with the same no compatible mount point error. His base station also works flawlessly with AgOpenGPS as I ran it in both combines last year with excellent results. Has anyone experienced these issues trying to run the local caster on RTK Base on a Case Pro 1200 monitor? Obviously an easy solution would be to switch it over to AgOpen lol(which will probably happen for next year so I don’t have to pay for the NTRIP Subscription on it) but I would like to make it so it is functional with any monitor so my friend can use it if need be or other local people.
I have two New Hollands with the intelliview 12 connected through rtk2go. That was the only way I could get them to work
On an old SBG Geostar 200, it did not distinguish between small letters and capital letters.(as far as I remember only small letters worked. Maybe only a problem with password?)
So make sure your mountpoint only have the corretc and ony one type letters.
I made a copy mountpoint with another name, back then in 2019.
Ok, I will give that a try and see if all lowercase of mount and password does anything. I will say thought that my friends base station is using upper and lowercase letters with snip and the Pro1200 is fine with that.
Shortening the username, password and mount point name and using all lowercase letters had no effect. Set up an Emlid caster, also no luck with the Pro1200. Using the NTRIP Checker app verifies that the base is indeed sending out the correct messages. The fact that the local caster and Emlid caster both work flawlessly with Agopen also confirms that. My friend was able to connect to my local caster with his trimble monitor no problem this afternoon so it’s something squirrely with the Pro1200. Going to update the software in it tomorrow and see if that has any effect.
Did you end up getting it to work? I assume you have an active NTRIP subscription with CNH?
I did not, you are correct, I do have an active NTRIP Subscription. Updated the 1200, which caused the gps receiver to not connect due to needing an update as well. Had to put the receiver on another tractor to update it because of that. Got it all back on, everything on the tractor was talking as intended and the only thing that was accomplished was that I can now connect to my base station via the Emlid caster, the local caster still won’t connect(says no compatible mount points) and my friends base station that had been working perfectly fine before the updates will no longer connect… For some reason his caster is banning my IP instantly for no apparent reason that we could find.
So in conclusion, as soon as planting is over, I’m going to put AgOpen on that tractor so I have one less thing to deal with on the 1200 and my friend is working on bypassing the 1200 and feeding NTRIP directly to the receiver on his tractor that has a 1200 so I have no reason to try and pursue a resolution to this problem any further. I didn’t like the 1200 when it came out and I like it even less now.
I will say the one thing that the update did seem to improve on the 1200 was the option to search mount points instead of just having a drop down menu you had to scroll through, very useful for the Emlid caster since there are hundreds of mount points on that source table.
